Since we were established in 2001, the ESSU has supported providers in delivering high quality Skills for Life provision. Our extensive training programme is a significant part of this quality support and we are able to offer range of courses to support staff CPD and teacher qualifications requirements

We can offer training at full cost recovery and also run some fully funded training to support specific project outcomes.

Recent training courses have included accredited PTLLS courses (Preparing To Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector), one day Access for All training, Good Practice Events in Supporting Literacy and Numeracy for Assessors and a series of City & Guilds 9297 Adult Learning Support courses with NHS staff, Royal Navy and voluntary and community organisations.

We are very proud of the quality of our training provision.

We are very happy to discuss specific training needs with providers. We can deliver training in-house for organisations and we also have an excellent training facility at our Fareham offices which is available for hire.

Please contact Hilary Fellows at hilaryfellows@essu.org to discuss your training needs.
